Schools Information Guides purchase options

What are they?

The Child Law Advice Service offers a schools information service. For a small fee, this service provides school professionals with detailed information about their legal rights and duties in the form of our Schools Information Guides.

Our aims are:

• To ensure that school professionals are in full understanding of their legal duties.
• To ensure that school professionals are clear on how to implement these legal duties.
• To ensure that school professionals are aware of the relevant law, guidance, advice and legislation to rely upon.

We do not offer:

• A mediation service
• Representation
• Over the phone/Email or face to face advice

How does it work?

Schools Information Guides can be bought by annual subscription or purchased individually. An annual subscription allowing full access to all our Schools Information Guides for a period of one year costs £35. Individual guides can be purchased for £2.

Annual subscriptions and individual guides are purchased through PayPal. You don’t need to have a PayPal account in order to use this service – you can pay with any standard debit or credit card.

All Schools Information Guides can be viewed on screen and can also be printed in ‘print friendly’ versions.

Buying an annual subscription

To buy an annual subscription to our our Schools Information Guides you must first register as a subscriber to this site.

Click on the Register button. You will be taken to the registration page. After submitting your registration, you will receive an email with a link back to the site to set your password. (Depending on your settings, this email may be filtered to your junk mail. It will be sent from [email protected] with a subject line of ‘Your username and password info’.)

Click on the link in the email. The site will automatically suggest a strong password. Copy or make a note of this. Should you prefer, you can also enter your own password. Press ‘Reset password’. You can now login with your username and password.

On the login welcome page, you will find a PayPal button allowing you to purchase an annual subscription to the Schools Information Guides.

When logged in you will have full access to the guides you have purchased for a period of 12 months. After this period, should you wish to continue with access, please purchase another annual subscription. Purchase of an annual subscription also affords you the status of ‘membership’ of the Child Law Advice website. We will be providing further on-line services for our members in due course.

Buying an individual guide

To buy a single guide, click on the PayPal button next to the guide you wish to purchase in the list below.

Once purchased, a link will be emailed to you giving you access to that page. Using this unique link, you may visit the page as many times as you like for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

No registration on the site is necessary with the purchase of individual guides.
